SASSA Takes Solutions to Fernie Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions to your community.

SASSA might be rendering expert services like new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency mentioned it is actually alarmed about the significant variety of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to SRD the high number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office devoted to service the area on a daily basis. The service point created for intervention ordeals a significant influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it challenging for the Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more resources to help the servicing of all prospects and increase usage of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
